The court files allege that, “Almost straight away right after executing the Contract with [Warren’s company] SalonCo, Saks embarked on a journey of aggravating the Agreement and ignoring the mutually agreed upon conditions.”

The papers claim that prior to Warren could open up his flagship place, “Saks surreptitiously and fraudulently entered into an agreement with WeWork, unbeknownst to SalonCo, to lease the tenth floor to WeWork for use as a co-working area, following SalonCo had currently spent more than $300,000 on plumbing, and design providers.”

Final yr Saks reportedly entered into a partnership with WeWork to develop SaksWorks, which would convert some of its retail place to office place — including the 10th floor of its flagship retailer near Rockefeller Heart.
