In 2019, the Black community took up 14.7{5c5ba01e4f28b4dd64874166358f62106ea5bcda869a94e59d702fa1c9707720} Pearland’s population. Now, the city is home to roughly 23,000 Black and African American people, a 4 percent increase within the last three years.
As the population grows, there is more interest in businesses catered to and owned by Black people. From restaurants to marriage counselors to hair salons, check out these 15 Black-owned businesses in the area.
